Do you have internet access?

Unfortunately visitors do not have access to internet. But don’t worry you will
not be bored here at Banka Banka West with so much to do and explore.
Should you need to check in with loved ones we have a Telstra pay phone
available with all calls to mobiles and landlines now free Australia wide.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are welcome on powered and unpowered sites, but not in cabins. Pets must be supervised at all times and never left unattended and must be leashed at all times. 

For health and safety reasons, pets are not allowed in any common areas of facilities including camp kitchen, showers, toilets and children’s playground.

Owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their pet’s waste in a sealed ‘doggy do’ plastic bag and disposed of in rubbish bins.

For health and safety reasons pets must not be washed or cleaned anywhere within the park. Additionally, any related accessories such as blankets, etc. should not be washed or cleaned within the park.

Owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions by or because of their pet.

The pet owner must agree that the park owner/manager reserves the right to evict any guests whose pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, and aggressive or the subject of complaints from other guests.

It is the pet owner’s responsibility and the owner’s alone to control and manage their dog. If in the view of the park management this has not happened to an acceptable level the owner and the pet may be evicted from the park, without prior warning, immediately at the manager’s discretion.

Are fires permitted?

In accordance with the NT Rural Fire Service, fires are not permitted at Banka
Banka West.

Do you have a pool?

We do not have a pool but we have the next best thing, a seasonal
water hole perfect for a dip on a warm day.

Do you have a dump point?

We certainly do. It is located beside the disable toilet block. Please refer to the
BBW layout map

Do you offer food?

No, we don’t offer food but have a well equipped camp kitchen for you to prepare a simple meal.

What is the water like?

We are so lucky to have the best water around. People come from all over to
enjoy our sweet water. Please note because we are located in Central Australia
water is very important to us and our animals; we ask that you please do not wash
down your cars and vans.

Do you have laundry facilities?

We have a washing machines available and the cost per load is $4; there is a money box at the reception for you to deposit this prior to use.

Where is the nearest fuel station?

If you are heading north your next fuel stop is Renner Springs which is 60kms or
if you are heading south your next stop would be Threeways Roadhouse which
is 75 kms.

Do you offer a refund policy?

We have a refund and cancellation policy within our Terms & Conditions. Please email us for more information.

What are your opening hours?

Our office is open from 9am -5pm. If you are going to be arriving late, please email us beforehand to make arrangement. A late check-in fee of up to $5 may be applied.
