Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation requests must be made via email to bankabookings@ilsc.gov.au.

Banka Banka West Station and Tourist Park has a “NO REFUND POLICY”. Given the nature of travelling during seasons, we highly recommend guests utilise travel insurance when planning and booking trips to the Top End.

Ensure you book the correct number of days required – no refund will be given due to leaving early. This means if you choose to leave early for any reason after you have checked in you are not entitled to a refund.

No refunds will be given for inclement weather.

If there are exceptional circumstances consideration may be given for a credit note by Management.

Miscellaneous

No refunds are available for early departures.

No camp fires are allowed at any time.

Pets are not allowed in cabin accommodation.

Only during the season (April to September) will the Bar and Shop be open, at the sole discretion of the onsite management, from 5pm to 7pm.

By proceeding to make a booking guests acknowledge that the management assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any accidents, injuries or loss from any cause while staying at Banka Banka West Station and Tourist Park.

Pets

Pets are welcome, but are not permitted within cabin accommodation. Pets must be supervised at all times and never left unattended including inside a tent or van or other accommodations. While outside of your van or tent or other accommodations, your pet must be leashed at all times.

For health and safety reasons pets are not allowed in any common areas of facilities including camp kitchen, showers, toilets and children’s playground.

Pets owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their waste in a sealed ‘doggy do’ plastic bag and disposed of in rubbish bins.

For health and safety reasons pets must not be washed or cleaned anywhere within the park. Additionally, any pet related accessories such as blankets, etc. should not be washed or cleaned within the park.

Pet owners are personally responsible, and will be held to be so, for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions by or because of their pet.

The pet owner must agree that the park owner/manager reserves the right to evict any guests whose pet is deemed noisy, disruptive, and aggressive or the subject of complaints from other guests.

It is the pet owner’s responsibility and the owner’s alone to control and manage their pet. If in the view of the park management this has not happened to an acceptable level the owner and the pet may be evicted from the park, without prior warning, immediately at the manager’s discretion.
